Is the new iPod Nano a Lumia ripoff or is the Lumia two Nano stacked?

The completely renanoed iPod Nano looks like an illegal child born from the sex of an iPod and a Nokia Lumia. Taking away the home button and click wheel on the previous Nano is a major design aesthetic, it makes the Nano even nanonier.

However in this latest iteration of the iPod Nano we see a home button, once again. Sure it brings convenience but at what price? IT’S BIGGER NOW! Where’s the nano in iPod Nano? Nevertheless, here are the cool new features:

Key Features:

Video
The new Nano has a 2.5 inch screen and plays video, now you can bring your movies, podcasts and home-made sex videos. This also means focusing your eyes on a smaller screen for as long as your video is. Can you imagine watching Avengers for 137 minutes on it?

Bluetooth
Bluetooth 4.0 built in to connect wirelessly to speakers, headphones and your car. This is good for joggers and eradicates cable mess.

Photos
Yay! Share your photos anywhere you go! Sounds like a good thing to have but not really a killer feature. Since we have our phones for that, who actually uses a 2.5 inch screen to share pictures, unless in desperate situations?

Earpods

While this is an accessory, being listed as one of the feature seems logical as they are designed and made to go hand in hand with the new iPod. It looks cool, like a pod literally, and they fit in “a variety of ear types” while producing the best quality of sound. From the picture we can see 2 drivers in each earbud.

This may mean separate drivers for high and mids frequencies. The subwoofer is built on the stem of the earpods. Apple even claimed “they rival high-end headphones.” Well this needs to be tried out before giving them thumbs up. I sure would want to try them out!
