Adidas: BOOST Technology Gives You Bounce

Isn't this cool?

Adidas has this new technology. It is a new kind of foam that is different from the traditional material used to make running shoes.

As quoted from Adidas America President Patrik Nilsson, "You try this shoe on. You run with it. You're never going to buy another shoe or go back to EVA," He said to CNBC.

According to CNBC, the new foam - marketed as "Boost", seems to allow the user to run better, able to bounce better and still be bouncy after months of running. It is also said that a steel ball bounces off higher on a Boost foam than on traditional EVA.

If this is true, it sounds really fun and be a good Nike-killer for the running market.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Officially Begins

So there will be another Amazing Spider-Man movie.

Returning casts include the old-new Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacey respectively.

And! This time! Spidey goes heads up against new villains Electro and Rhino!

Lets hope Sony doesn't screw this up and who knows, we might see Doc Ock and maybe the Sinister 6 in Amazing Spider-Man 3.

Michael Jackson Wants To Buy Marvel To Be Spiderman

According to OMG Facts, Michael Jackson went the extra mile of "If you can't beat them, join them" logic, by attempting to purchase Marvel, so that he can play the screen adaptation of Spiderman, that eventually went to Tobey Maguire.

I am glad Stan Lee and Marvel's Chairman did not sell Marvel out. Who knows what kind of Thriller Spiderman will become.

New iPad May Look Like The Current iPad Mini

I am a sucker for iPhone, iPad and iPod news. But recenly Apple news are boring news so I don't really bother..........

However piece of iPad news from 9to5mac seems interesting! It looks like the iPad mini! With a thinner bezel! And a flatter design!

But one question remains.... how will users hold it when reading off the iPad with its thin bezels? And will it be easy to be picked up? After all, the late Steve Jobs wanted a curved back cus its easy to pick up and a thick bezel to hold it easier when reading it.

Ever Wondered Why You Wanna Squeeze Cute Things?

Think of cute babies, cute kittens, cute ducklings, cute little monsters, cute puppy... you wanna squeeze them, hug them so tightly, or even bite them.

WHY?? Are we secretly perverts?

Two psychology grad students from Yale tried to find the answers of why human beings have this urge to squeeze cute things. They had 109 respondents look at cute animals pictures that are grouped into Cute, Funny or Neutral. The results showed very clearly that the cuter the animals, the more aggressive their responses.

But the researchers went on to part 2. They wanted to make sure that people act on the aggression too, rather than just expressing it. They brought 90 respondents into a lab and gave them bubble wraps. Again, 3 categories of animals were shown to them - Cute, Funny or Neutral. Those in the Funny group popped 80 bubbles on average. Those in the Neutral group popped about 100 bubbles and those in the Cute group...

POPPED 120 BUBBLES.

So the main story is that the researchers managed to verify that the cuter something (or someone) is, the more we exercise "Cute Aggression" (also a word which the researchers came up with for the English language).

There are no definite results on why we have cute aggression from the findings. However, possible theories suggested simply that, when it is too much of something good, we tend to overdo and portray exaggeratedly, in a positive emotion in a negative way, like crying when we are too happy or touched.

For example, think "It's so adorable, it drives me crazy!" or "Its so fluffy, I'm gonna die!"

Rare Catalogue Reveals 007 Styled M19 Gadgets Used In WW2

According to Daily Mail, this rare catalogue named 'Per Ardua Libertas' which means Liberty Through Adversity, was designed in 1942 for officers of the American Intelligence unit. 

Featured awesomeness included a Standard pack of playing cards that can form into a map, a Cigar Carrier which can fit either tissue or silk map and compass. There is also a picture of a boot... I wonder if those boots have built-in thrusters to allow these soldiers to run faster or give them the ability to fly?

Muse iTunes Festival 2012

Yea, I downloaded the iTunes Festival App just for this. In the end, I didn't watch it live on 1st October (local time)... So.....

After a long break of recording for The 2nd Law, Muse is finally back on the stage. While the new songs are sounding great live (Panic Station is quickly becoming my one of my favourite from the new album), the old classics seems to... get rusty.

What do I mean by that? Look at the gig and you will know. Time Is Running Out and Plug In Baby, two of my favourite Muse classics... butchered.

Btw, people keeps commenting why aren't Hysteria or Stockholm Syndrome is being played... For the love of rock, a better solution is just watch Glastonbury or Reading Festival if you want to see those songs live?
